Many times a reservation is rejected on Cangooroo as the price changes. In order to reduce this type of situation, we have developed a new configuration that allows the confirmation of a reservation if there is a change in the values at the time of confirmation.
The price change ratio allowed will be defined by the operator in percentage, in the field available under Configuration - Operator:
In the image above we are presenting the configuration with the default value of Cangooroo.
In this example, the price ratio allowed is 2.00%, so during the booking confirmation if the supplier's price increases up to 2.00% the booking will be confirmed.
Example: Supplier's price at the time of the search: 109.99 / Supplier's price returned in the booking: 111.50. The variation here is 1.37% therefore the reservation will be confirmed with the new price.
Important:
- If the supplier's price changes and the new one exceeds the permitted price change fee, the booking will be rejected.
- The supplier's price will change in the booking, causing the operator's margin to change.
